Our Work

What We're Building

We are not a funder, we’re an accountability collective led by and for young people.

At We Trust You(th), we use bold storytelling and youth-friendly art and humor to unpack power, question the status quo, and make invisible dynamics visible.

Our work bridges the gap between youth-led organizations and donors, co-creating tools, spaces, and strategies to build more equitable, caring, and transparent partnerships.

We're here to ask the uncomfortable questions, spotlight what’s working (and what’s not), and shift how youth engagement and funding relationships are done, with trust, joy, creativity, and accountability at the core.

Explore our latest tools and resources, from funder reflection guides to storytelling-based accountability frameworks, our resources are designed to spark action, and make funding youth groups more just!

👇 Dive into what we’ve been building.

Back a bold new vision for how youth-led organizations should be supported. By endorsing our standard, you’re helping shift power and set a new bar for how funders show up transparently, equitably, and with youth at the center.

Who says accountability can’t be fun? Our comic book uses art and humor to spotlight real stories from youth organizers and the wild world of funding. Dive in, laugh a little, and learn a lot about what needs to change.

This is where youth-led orgs connect, collaborate, and have each other’s backs. In the Solidarity Hub, we trade tools, share tactics, and hold space for healing and resistance. If you’re a youth organizer, this is your space too.

Tools to rethink Funding

Whether you're a funder ready to reflect or a youth-led group assessing your experience, our tools are here to spark dialogue, shift power, and drive accountability.

📋 Recommendations for Funders

This is a great place to tell users a story about your website and let them know more about what you offer. You may want to share information about your company's background, your team, or the services you provide. Be sure to keep the tone and voice consistent throughout the site so users become familiar with your brand.

🧪 Funder Assessment Mechanism

We created this tool for youth-led organizations to reflect on their experiences with funders—from application to reporting. It’s simple, anonymous, and designed to highlight both red flags and positive practices.
The results feed into collective learning and advocacy for a new standard—because if we don’t assess, how can we expect change.

We work with funders, allies, and youth-led organizations to redesign what equitable partnership looks like.
