Why Partner With Us?

At We Trust You(th), we’re building a bold, youth-led movement to reshape how funding works. Today’s funding systems are often extractive, rigid, and inaccessible to youth-led organizations, despite their leadership on the frontlines of social change.

We’re designing tools, accountability mechanisms, and shared visions to hold funders accountable and center the leadership, experiences, and wisdom of young people.

​

We meet funders where they are while nudging them toward where they need to be. We’ve created a flexible engagement model for funders who want to strengthen their commitment to youth-led accountability.

 

Whether you’re just getting started or ready for deeper transformation, we offer a pathway to support that’s practical, values-driven, and youth-led.

A Tiered, Transformational Approach

Tier 1: Foundations

Cost: Free  

Tier 1 includes foundational support for funders beginning their youth accountability journey. Funders at this level will receive access to selected WTY tools and resources, including all materials from our public Challenge and Phase One of the What’s Possible Learning Institute. They’ll also be invited to share the Solidarity Hub opportunity with their grantee partners.Tier 1 partners receive early access to new opportunities, updates, and invitations to WTY webinars and public learning sessions.

Tier 2 includes everything offered in Tier 1 plus a deeper level of engagement for funders ready to reflect, test, and evolve their practices. This includes a series of tailored learning and reflection sessions for your team, strategic support to pilot WTY tools, and guidance on integrating youth-led principles into your grantmaking. You’ll also receive light-touch accompaniment during internal processes (virtually or in person) and have opportunities to join curated peer-learning spaces with other funders. Tier 2 also unlocks access to the WTY Endorsement Program, allowing funders to publicly affirm their commitment to youth-led accountability and be featured on our site alongside a shared statement of intent.

Tier 2: Active Engagement

Cost: Paid (Custom Proposal)  

Tier 3: Transformational

Cost: Paid (Customized Long-Term Engagement)

Tier 3 includes everything offered in Tiers 1 and 2, plus deep, embedded support for funders ready to move from reflection to transformation. At this level, a WTY team member can be embedded within your organization (for example, one day per week) to provide hands-on accompaniment tailored to your internal systems. Together, we will help you design accountability structures that make sense for your grantees, teams, and wider stakeholders. This includes internal process mapping, identifying both barriers and opportunities, and offering long-term coaching and constructive, youth-led feedback. Tier 3 also includes dedicated support for documenting learnings and translating them into internal tools and sustainable practices. This tier is ideal for funders who are ready to institutionalize youth-led accountability at the heart of their work.

In addition to our tiered support model, We Trust You(th) also offers flexible, one-off or tailored engagements for funders and allies who want to tap into our youth-led expertise without committing to a full partnership tier.​

  • 🗣️ Funder-grantee dialogue facilitation: Let us help you design and facilitate brave, generative spaces for conversations between your institution and the youth-led organizations you fund.

  • 📚 Storytelling collaborations: Partner with us to tell powerful stories about youth-led work, accountability wins, or funding transformation.

  • 🧩 Tool testing & feedback loops: Pilot a single WTY tool (e.g. the Assessment Mechanism) and get our feedback on how it works in your context.
